IL RACCONTO PERSONALE DEL GIOVANISSIMO TALENTO ITALIANO FIORENZO RITORTO GIUNTO ALLA SEMIFINALE DEL PRESTIGIOSO CONCORSO INTERNAZIONALE CITTA' DI PORCIA 2017

THE PERSONAL STORY OF THE YOUNG ITALIAN TALENT FIORENZO RITORTO, JOINT TO THE SEMIFINAL OF THE PRESTIGIOUS INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION OF THE CITY OF PORCIA 2017

Diplomato in corno a soli 16 anni con 10/10 lode e menzione d’onore, presso il Conservatorio “G. Nicolini” di Piacenza col M° A. Pedretti.

Pur essendo giovanissimo ha all’attivo numerosi premi: per quattro anni consecutivi ha vinto il primo premio al Concorso di Mirandola (G. Girati), primo premio al Concorso di Vescovado, primo premio al Concorso Nazionale per corno di Livorno “L. Borghi”, primo premio al Concorso Nazionale “Abbado” dei Conservatori indetto dal MIUR, primo classificato Borsa di studio “Rotary” di Piacenza, vincitore del primo premio categoria ottoni e primo premio assoluto di tutte le categorie alla XIII edizione del concorso internazionale di musica “Città di Pesaro”. Primo premio categoria fiati al Val Tidone Festival.

Semifinalista al concorso internazionale “Cittá di Porcia” (28ªed.)

Ha frequentato masterclass con i maestri: Dale Clevenger, Bruno Schneider, Roberto Miele, Frøydis Ree Wekre, Johannes Hinterholzer, Timothy Jones dalla London Symphony Orchestra, e con alcuni dei cornisti dei Berliner Philarmoniker: Stefan Dohr, Fergus McWilliam, Stephan Jeziersky.

Ha suonato come corno solista presso: l’Auditorium del Conservatorio “G.Nicolini” di Piacenza, il Teatro Nuovo di Mirandola, sala Mozart a Bologna, l’Auditorium di Cremona, Palazzo Comunale di Locri, Accademia Filarmonica di Bologna.

Ha collaborato con il Teatro Municipale di Piacenza.

Ha all’attivo numerosi concerti con varie formazioni cameristiche con cui ha anche vinto la borsa di studio “Trio Pakovsky” e vinto il primo premio presso il concorso “Cittá di Giussano” nella categoria Musica da Camera con un punteggio di 100/100, con l’ensamble “Nuages”.

Ha collaborato come 1° corno alla tourneè a Trieste e in Serbia (Belgrado, Novi Sad) con l’Orchestra Nazionale dei Conservatori nell’ottobre del 2015, e alla serata di gala del “Premio Claudio Abbado” al teatro Argentina a Roma nel Maggio 2016.

Ha collaborato con l’ Orchester Brucker Akademie Muncher, eseguendo concerti presso la Herculessaal di Monaco di Baviera.

Attualmente si sta perfezionando con la prof.ssa Nury Guarnaschelli presso la BRASS ACCADEMY DI ALICANTE (Spagna) e collabora dal Novembre 2017 con l’Accademia del Teatro alla Scala

Graduated in horn at only 16 years with 10/10 cum laude and honorable mention at the "G. Nicolini" of Piacenza with Maestro A. Pedretti.

Very young he has won numerous prizes: for four consecutive years he won first prize at the Mirandola Competition (G. Girati), first prize at the Vescovado Competition, first prize at the National Competition for horn of Livorno "L. Borghi ", first prize at the" Abbado "National Competition of Conservatories organized by MIUR, first prize" Rotary "scholarship in Piacenza, winner of the first brass category award and first prize of all categories at the 13th edition of the international music competition "City of Pesaro". First prize in the wind category at Val Tidone Festival.

He attended master classes with: Dale Clevenger, Bruno Schneider, Roberto Miele, Frøydis Ree Wekre, Johannes Hinterholzer, Timothy Jones from the London Symphony Orchestra, and with some of the Berliner Philarmoniker's hornists: Stefan Dohr, Fergus McWilliam, Stephan Jeziersky.

He played as a solo horn at: the Auditorium of the "G. Nicolini" Conservatory of Piacenza, the Teatro Nuovo of Mirandola, the Mozart hall in Bologna, the Cremona Auditorium, the Town Hall of Locri, and the Bologna Philharmonic Academy.

He collaborated with the Municipal Theater of Piacenza.

He played in numerous concerts with various chamber ensembles with which he also won the "Trio Pakovsky" scholarship and won the first prize at the "Città di Giussano" competition in the Chamber Music category with a score of 100/100, with the ensemble "Nuages".

He collaborated as 1st horn at the tourneè in Trieste and Serbia (Belgrade, Novi Sad) with the National Conservatory Orchestra in October 2015, and at the gala evening of the "Premio Claudio Abbado" at the Teatro Argentina in Rome in May 2016.

He has collaborated with the Orchester Brucker Akademie Muncher, performing concerts at the Herculessaal in Munich.

He is currently studying with Prof. Nury Guarnaschelli at the BRASS ACCADEMY DI ALICANTE (Spain) and has been collaborating since November 2017 with the Accademy of Teatro alla Scala

RACCONTACI LA TUA ESPERIENZA

"La 28ª edizione del concorso internazionale “Cittá di Porcia” è stata per me una grande svolta professionale. Essendo questa una delle mie prime esperienze in concorsi internazionali, posso sostenere di avere imparato tanto, sia a livello personale che strumentale. Ciò che più di tutto è stato stimolante, è il confronto diretto con cornisti di tutte le età e provenienti da tutto il mondo, con esperienze sì differenti, ma accomunati dallo stesso talento e dalla stessa passione. In questa grande occasione, ho avuto modo di conoscere nuovi amici, condividendo con loro tanti piccoli momenti, in un contesto comune come quello musicale. Inoltre, l’affrontare una giuria di fama mondiale non può che essere stato di grande insegnamento, sia durante le esecuzioni, sia durante i colloqui al termine del mio concorso, trattando di vari argomenti riguardanti il mio percorso. L’aver superato la prima fase e aver raggiunto la semifinale è stato per me un grande traguardo: un punto importante da cui ricominciare per una buona crescita professionale. Credo di poter dare ancora di più, e questa esperienza non ha fatto altro che spronarmi a migliorare sempre, con tanta determinazione. L’ambiente è stato accogliente fin da subito, contribuendo a sminuire la tensione, tipica dei concorsi. La stessa commissione si è dimostrata gentile e disponibile, insieme a tutta l’organizzazione del concorso. Posso quindi essere solamente soddisfatto di tutto ciò che da questa esperienza ho guadagnato."

"The 28th edition of the "City of Porcia" international competition was for me a great professional turning point. This being one of my first experiences in international competitions, I can claim to have learned a lot, both on a personal and instrumental level. What has been most stimulating, is the direct confrontation with hornists of all ages and from all over the world, with so different experiences, but united by the same talent and the same passion. On this great occasion, I got to know new friends, sharing with them many little moments, in a common context such as music. Furthermore, dealing with a world-renowned jury can only be of great teaching, both during the performances and during the talks at the end of my competition, dealing with various topics concerning my career. Having passed the first phase and reaching the semi-finals was a great achievement for me: an important point from which to start again for a good professional growth. I think I can give even more, and this experience encourage me to always improve, with so much determination. The environment was welcoming immediately, helping to diminish the tension, typical of competitions. The same commission proved to be friendly and helpful, along with the entire organization of the competition. I can therefore only be satisfied with everything that I have gained from this experience."
