In una rivista cornistica italiana si deve per forza menzionare colui che ha rivoluzionato la storia del corno italiano, orgoglio di tutti noi cornisti e non solo...direi musicisti italiani!:

E' Primo Corno Solista dell'Orchestra Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, della Lucerne Festival Orchestra e dell'Orchestra Mozart fondata dal Maestro Claudio Abbado. All'età di 23 anni, viene scelto dal Maestro Riccardo Muti come Primo Corno Solista presso il Teatro Alla Scala di Milano. E' stato Primo Corno ospite in prestigiose orchestre internazionali tra le quali: i Berliner Philarmoniker, Bayerischer Rundfunk Orchester e Mahler Chamber Orchestra. Vincitore di importanti riconoscimenti e premi internazionali, tra i quali il Prague Spring Competition e il concorso A.R.D. di Monaco di Baviera, ha eseguito concerti solistici sotto la direzione di illustri maestri quali: Abbado, Muti, Chung, Tate e Pappano. La sua intensa attività cameristica lo ha visto al fianco di musicisti di eccezione come Salvatore Accardo, Ian Bostridge e lo stesso Antonio Pappano, con il quale ha recentemente eseguito la prima europea del Concerto per corno di Eliott Carter, presso l'Auditoriom Parco della Musica di Roma. Come docente viene spesso invitato a tenere Masters Class in autorevoli Accademie ed Università europee, tra cui la Royal Accademy of Music, il Royal College, la Guildhall School di Londra, il Conservatorio di Birmingham, nonché prestigiose Università dell'America Latina e del Giappone. Il suo impegno nel sociale lo vede presente in varie parti del mondo a sostegno di progetti che mirano al miglioramento delle società attraverso l'educazione musicale: offre il suo contributo all'Orchestra juvenil "Simòn Bolivar" in Venezuela; è Presidente dell'Associazione culturale Eleuthera nell'ambito della quale è nata la Human Rights Orchestra; collabora inoltre con il sociologo Shizuo Matsumoto in un progetto di scambio fra la cultura giapponese e italiana, con Ramzi Aberdwan, musicista palestinese che ha vissuto le brutalità della prima Intifada e con Emergency. Nel 2006 ha ricevuto in Italia, dalla Fondazione Exodus di Don Mazzi, il "Premio Nazionale la casa delle Arti" per aver saputo coniugare impegno professionale e stile di vita. Recentemente ha inciso l'integrale dei concerti di Mozart per corno e orchestra in un'incisione live con l'Orchestra Mozart, diretta Claudio Abbado.

Il mio percorso di studi e quello di molti ragazzi cornisti è stato molto influenzato da lui non solo sul lato cornistico ma anche sul lato umano. Allegrini è un musicista che riesce a trasformare un pensiero filosofico in musica e ogni nota ha un suo significato, il suo suono è inconfondibile.
Il suo modo di suonare unisce tutte le scuole in una, io lo definisco un "camaleonte musicale" poichè riesce ad essere Italiano, Americano, Francese, Spagnolo, Russo, Tedesco ecc. in base al contesto musicale e il repertorio che suona, cambiando vocali, articolazioni e colore del suono.
Portatore di un pensiero: "aiutare il prossimo con la forza della musica". Consiglio a tutti di acquistare il DVD "L'Altra Voce della Musica", un documentario in cui Allegrini insieme al maestro Abbado aiutano i ragazzi del grandioso Progetto Abreu in Venezuela...davvero emozionante.
La prima volta che lo conobbi fu ad una masterclass a Giardini Naxos (Messina), avevo 15 anni e mi bastarono i primi armonici con il corno in fa suonati da lui per capire che il corno è una filosofia e non solo un semplice strumento. Basta soltanto osservarlo mentre suona per avere lo stimolo giusto per studiare e andare avanti. Sarò di parte poichè sono un suo sfegatato ammiratore ma penso di condividere il pensiero di molti colleghi cornisti perchè per noi lui è davvero il nostro ORGOGLIO.

His way of playing combines all the schools into one, I call it a "chameleon" as it manages to be Italian, American, French, Spanish, Russian, German and so on. based on the musical context and the repertoire that plays, changing vocals, joints, and color of the sound.A bearer of a thought: "to help one another with the power of music". I advise everyone to buy the DVD "The Other Voice of Music", a documentary in which Allegrini, together with Abbado, help the boys of the great Abreu Project in Venezuela ... really exciting. The first time I met him in a masterclass at Giardini Naxos (Messina), I was 15 years old and I had enough of the first harmonics with the F horn playing in front of him to understand that the horn is a philosophy and not just a simple instrument. Just look at it while playing to get the right incentive to study and move on. I'm going to be part because I'm an outspoken admirer but I think I share the thought of many colleagues because for us he is really our PRIDE.
